Your shoe was made with natural and discovered materials that are finished with hand polishing and patination by our master craftsmen, the LUX Bally finish. This craftsmanship requires the utmost attention during cleaning operations. In fact, cleaning cannot be subjected to mechanical abrasive actions (e.g. brushes) or substances based on waxes / ointments or alcohol-based liquids as the color would risk changing, flaking, mixing. During their cleaning we therefore recommend the utmost care in using ONLY AND EXCLUSIVELY a slightly moistened (wrung out) woolen cloth.
The item you have purchased has been made with leather that has undergone a mixed-vegetable tanning process. It is an unfinished, grainy leather to retain the natural appearance and features of this item. Any veining and irregularities in the colour are to be considered normal. The aged effect is hand-created on each individual shoe, so there may be slight differences between the pair. Do not expose the product to rain and excessive humidity. For cleaning, we recommend using a wool cloth or similar without adding self-polishing products or products that could discolour and oil the leather.
